Organized by Dom Omladine Beograda, the festival will run from October 24th to 28th, with concerts taking place at two iconic venues: MTS Hall and Dom Omladine Beograda.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sve\u010dano otvaranje Beogradskog d\u017eez festivala \u2013 24. oktobar 2024.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The festival kicks off in style with a performance by the <strong>Big Band RTS<\/strong> and the legendary conductor and pianist <strong>Alan Broadbent<\/strong>. Their program, titled <em>\u201cFrom Newport to Belgrade,\u201d<\/em> pays homage to jazz\u2019s illustrious history, featuring original Broadbent arrangements of works by Miles Davis, Thelonious Monk, and Charlie Haden.<\/p>\n<p>That same evening, world-renowned jazz vocalist <strong>C\u00e9cile McLorin Salvant<\/strong> will make her Belgrade debut. If you\u2019re a fan of jazz vocals, don\u2019t miss the opportunity to hear a singer who has won three consecutive Grammys for Best Jazz Vocal Album. It promises to be a night to remember!<\/p>\n<p><strong>World-Class Talent at This Year\u2019s Festival<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s festival offers a musical journey through various jazz styles and cultures. You\u2019ll be able to enjoy performances by big names such as <strong>Anat Cohen Quartetinho, Quartab\u00ea, Gianluca Petrella Cosmic Renaissance, James Carter Quintet, Jason Moran<\/strong>, and <strong>Rudresh Mahanthappa Hero Trio<\/strong>. Representing the local scene, the <strong>Serbian All Stars<\/strong>ensemble will pay tribute to Serbian jazz icons in collaboration with the Faculty of Music Arts.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Buena Vista All Stars Closing the Festival<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To close this year\u2019s festival in grand style, <strong>Buena Vista All Stars<\/strong> will take the stage.
