The second international museum theater festival, MUZTEA, will be held from November 4 to 8, 2024, in several museums in Belgrade. MUZTEA is a museum theater festival that was first held in November 2023, and due to its high standards, it immediately joined the list of IMF members, within UNESCO’s International Theater Institute (ITI). The festival is recognized as one of the platforms for cultural exchange and the promotion of museum activities through theatrical play, a platform for the collaboration of museum and theater professionals.

As part of the MUZTEA 2024 festival, on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at 7:00 PM, at the Princess Ljubica’s Residence, the program will feature “Medea” by Jean Anouilh. Directed by Razhden Kervalishvili, Medea will be portrayed by Madona Shubitidze. On the stage of the Princess Ljubica’s Residence, interpreted by Georgian artists, the tragic figure of Greek mythology, the legendary, mythical Medea, abandoned by all, morally destroyed, in a foreign land she cannot bear – her mission is not yet fulfilled.

NOTE: The number of seats for the performance “Medea” is limited to 40.
