No auditions, no vocal training, no sheet music – just the pure joy of singing together! (O)pusti Glas! (roughly “Let Your Voice Go!”) is one of Belgrade’s most heartwarming community projects – a sing-along workshop where anyone, regardless of musical ability, comes together to sing in a safe, supportive, and ridiculously fun environment. Led by the irresistible energy of Mara and her team of musicians (including guitarists Moma and Flux), these sessions have been running for four years and have built a devoted community of hundreds. 🎤

The format is beautifully simple: you show up at Kuća Umetnica on Dorćol, sit down among strangers who quickly become friends, and spend 90 minutes singing your heart out together. The song choices range from beloved regional classics to international hits, all accompanied by live guitar. No one cares if you can carry a tune – what matters is the collective release, the laughter, and the deep human connection that happens when people sing together.
