Swedish music star Jay-Jay Johanson, renowned for his jazzy vocals and cinematic trip-hop sound, is finally coming to Belgrade! One of the most original contemporary music artists will perform on March 11, 2025, at Dorćol Platz as part of the Kontakt conference, showcase, and festival.

Johanson, once voted “the most beautiful man in the world,” was born in Trollhättan, Sweden, in 1968. His debut album, Whiskey, released in 1996, catapulted him into the spotlight with its unique film-noir-inspired arrangements and deeply emotional lyrics. Hits like So Tell the Girl That I’m Back in Town, On the Radio, and Heard Somebody Whistle cemented his status as a cult favorite whose live performances are truly unforgettable.

His latest album, Fetish, features new tracks that delve into themes of love, loss, and human nature. The Belgrade audience will have the unique opportunity to experience these songs live during what will also be Johanson’s first-ever performance in the city.
